He is double registered APHA & AQHA. This picture perfect stallion possesses not only an effortless ability to lope in place but a halter-worthy conformation along with an ultimate attitude desired in a stallion! He is clearly a horse that loves his job of performing. He has certainly proven his ability to live up to his pedigree. He is sired by one of AQHA's leading performance sires in the industry, Zips Chocolate Chip and out of Eternal Pretense, an AQHA mare with 11 Western Pleasure points and a full sister to three AQHA Superior Pleasure Horses. As a two-year-old, Ready To Zip won nearly every Western Pleasure Futurity in the Midwest. He was also shown one time in halter and garnered 6 points. As a three-year-old he continued to exhibit his winning stride, ending the show season at the top of the APHA Honor Roll in Western Pleasure. In the spring of his four-year-old year, Garth Gooding purchased him to stand at stud. The horse had already established an impressive show record and was generating interest from the pleasure horse breeders. However, once he got him home and started to ride him, Garth decided they were not quite ready to hang up his traveling shoes. Ready To Zip showed no signs of show ring burnout. Even after two years of rigorous campaigning, he was as confident and consistent as ever. Gooding could not resist the chance to showcase their acquisition at one last major event. With Todd Sommers in the pilot's seat, Ready To Zip won the APHA World Championship Western Pleasure Maturity. His siring ability has matched equal to his show arena record! To date, Ready To Zips offspring have earned more then 15,000 APHA points. From his first foal crop, Zipped With Class gave him the distinction of becoming a World Champion sire. Another foal of his - Zip That, became the all-time Breeder's Trust highest money earning nominated foal with a payout of $9,375.85 in 2001. In addition he is a sire of multiple Superior Performance Horses; Congress Champion Hunter Under Saddle, Congress Champion Western Pleasure; and APHA World Show Champion Western Pleasure offspring! In 2000 he was the number #1 APHA Sire of Foal Earnings. In 2002, he was listed on APHA Leading Performance Sires List!
