He was also the 1993 Congress NRHA Open Champion, 1991 Congress Open Cutting Champion, Open Champion at the 1993 NRHA Derby, tied 3rd in the 1989 NCHA Open Super Stakes, was the 1990 Non-Pro Open Cutting Co-Champion, 5th in the 1990 Bonanza Open Classic, top 10 in the 1990 NCHA Open Finals, and was Open Reining & Cutting winner at a multitude of stock shows and show circuits.

As for producing, Smart Chic Olena is the #1 ALL-TIME LEADING SIRE. First becoming a leading sire in 1995, he was the 1995 #5 Leading Reining Sire with only two foal crops to show and moved up to #2 Leading Reining Sire in 1996 with only three crops showing. He was the #1 Leading Reining & Reined Cow Horse Sire in 1998 & 1999 and was the 1999 NRHA #1 Leading Sire. From 2008 to 2021, he was an NRHA Top 5 All-Time Leading Sire; from 2012 to 2021, he was an NRCHA Top 5 All-Time Leading Sire. Today, SMART CHIC OLENA is currently the QData & NRCHA #5 All-Time Leading Reined Cow Horse Sire, a QData & NRHA Top Ten All-Time Leading Reining Sire, QData #7 All-Time Leading Sire of Ranch Riding Money-Earners; and a QData Top Ten All-Time Leading Sire of Ranch Horse Money-Earners. All of this having passed (13) years ago! His equistats for offspring production, which includes APHA foals of Performance Age (2,196), Performers (1,293), Point-Earners (865), Points Earned (32,694), ROM Awards (70), Superior Awards (148), Money-Earners (1,126), Total foal earnings $15,275,233 (making him a Fifteen-Million Dollar Sire), earners of over $100,000, (26) Average Earnings $13,566, producer of (31) World Championships and (3) Reserve World Champions.
