Metallic Cattack

Gallop welcomes APHA World Champion, Metallic Cattack. Owned by Solo Select Horses. Tic Tok (as he is affectionately called) is a 2015, 14.3HH double registered AQHA/APHA red roan stallion by legendary stallion, Metallic Cat. His dam is one of the greatest daughters of CD Olena the industry has ever seen, Quiolena! She has produced over $829,000 with over 85% of her foals over four- years-old being NCHA earners!

Metallic Cattack holds Life-time Earnings of $30,000+ NCHA/Equi-Status, and is a multiple Open & Non-Pro Aged Event Finalist. He was sent to Gary Wells to be campaigned in the tie-down roping in 2020. He took to it extremely well and ended up being the 2020 APHA World Champion Tie Down Horse with less than four months of training! From there it was on to Oklahoma where he captured the Bronze at the AQHA World Show in the Junior Tie Down Roping! Tic Tac continued being shown in 2021 under the guidance of Gary Wells and Cody McCartney.

Watching Metallic Cattack quietly waiting for a calf to be released; then run to it with speed and position in working with his rider to rope it... is pure perfection. He's a natural in his stops, quiet in the box, and works the end of the rope well keeping the slack out but not dragging the calf. Many don't understand that Tie-Down Roping requires a smart horse that can make decisions without being signaled by the rider, whose hands are busy, and that's just what Metallic Cattack can do!

His first foals arrived in 2021, and have met his breeder's expectations. His foals are eligible for Pink Buckle, Ruby Buckle, Breeders Challenge, NRCHA Stallion Stakes, and the National Reining Breeders Classic. Metallic Cattack is Genetic Tested: 5 panel N/N, IMM N/N, and LWO N/N. His color testing is: Red Factor: ee, Agouti: Aa, Roan Zygosity: Rnrn, and frame Overo: N/N. Solo Select Horses look forward to having a long, successful career with Metallic Cattack as both a cutting horse and a rope horse. It is evident that his size, pedigree and incredible athletic ability will compliment a wide variety of mares!
