For their first time at the AQHA World Show, he sired a third in the World Bronze winner, Top-Three, Top-Five, and Top-Ten winner. At the APHA Halter Millions World Show Futurities, he again sired Top-Three, Top-Five, and Top-Ten money earners. His offspring possess kind dispositions and are willing, quick learners. 'Sailor' is 17 hands high and has that sought-after dark, rich golden palomino color. He has a good, solid, correct structure topped off with a stunning head and that huge hip that his bloodlines are known for. His pedigree is full of incredible mares, an essential factor in breeding.

He is Six Panel Negative and Negative for Overo Lethal White Syndrome. He is registered with APHA, AQHA, and PHBA. In addition, his offspring are eligible for Buckskin Bred Classes, credited to his sire being Buckskin. Sailor was the first American Paint Horse found to carry the new pattern color gene named W34. He is also homozygous for another new color gene discovered, the W35. Sailors' offspring are eligible for the Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund, Breeders Halter Futurity Color Division, WCHA Futurity, Big Money Futurity, Rising Star Futurity, APHA Platinum Futurity, APHA Gold Futurity, and the Breeders Trust.
